The silver Top Mount Base #40AS from Weaver has been machined to tight tolerances for a custom fit. This aluminum base offers maximum strength so that the rings will hold tight.

Note: The Raptor Arms that is the same as the Remington 700 Long Action and the BSA Monarch Medium Action in 222, 243, and 308; CF2, Monarch Long Action in 7mm, 270, and 30-06 can be used with a tactical multi-slot base.

Note: For the Weatherby Vanguard shimming is probably required for perfect scope alignment. For shorter tube scopes or red dot scopes use #402 extension front base or one-piece base if available. Extension base allows an extra 0.689″.
